faking a serious injury for money?

by admin on August 18, 2010

I know someone who is faking a serious injury and saying they are unable to work, but working. It is a truck accident that she is claiming injured her so badly. my TWO questions are: being that this is an insurance payout, is there a financial reward for unveiling this scam?
AND How would be the best way to go about finding the case information? I only have her name, age, address and personal testimony that she worked with me for more than a year.
I dont have the capability to find the particular insurance company being scammed… there are so many out there and for truckers… I dont have that information, only her info.

I doubt there is a reward, but you can be a good citizen and let the insurance company know what you know.

They’ll have an investigator check her out.

Edit: Call the trucking company and they’ll get the insurance company on it.

the financial reward is the cost of your insurance not going through the roof
insurance is so high because of people scamming the system

that all the basic information you need to send to the insurance company that paid out and if she is charge and convicted ,ask the insurance company what the reward is for,and if there isn’t any hang up ,its about time somebody rip off the insurance Company for once!!!!! go get em!!

Search the public records in the criminal courts of the state she is in.
her name will be listed as a party of the case. This is public info.
You may not be able to find it online though. Some courts do not keep up their sites well enough
