It all depends on how severe you back and neck injury is and how long you will be out of work. It also will depend on how much you were making as far as an income when you were working when you had the accident . It will also have to see you was involve in the accident and if you were the case and my suggestion to your question is to get a very good lawyer and ask him all your question and have him give you the honest answers.
There is no set formula for what you get for such injuries. I would suggest you see a medical doctor rather than a chiropractic one though, insurance companies put chiropractic and witch doctors in the same category.
Maybe ask a lawyer for some advice? I think they could help you out and figure a reasonable amount, but i am not 100% sure about that.
Get a lawyer. There are caps in some states…
Get a good lawyer. Not a family lawyer that takes an occasional personal injury claim – go for one specializing in injuries. That is the best way to get the max amount of $$$ for your injuries.
Also, that comment "that insurance companies view chiropractors as witch doctors" is a bunch of crap. Doctors are doctors as long as they fully document your injuries. Chiro vs. MD – their major difference is using pain meds and surgery to treat an injury vs physical therapy.
Also, the amount of money you get depends on the seriousness of your injuries, pain level and whether or not it effects your ability to work.
Get to a lawyer!
Good luck!
You expect us to tell you this without knowing the extent of your injuries and the policy limits of the at fault party? I hope your not planning to win the lottery- if this is simple neck/back pain that will keep you in the chiro for a month or two… expect your medical bills paid and maybe another 500-2000 dollars.
And please.. please… dont listen to people who are gonna tell you that you will get 50000 dollars.
There is no formula, you need to be done treating, and you need to tell us more!
